St. Louis, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The St. Louis Cardinals activated infielder
Khalil Greene from the 15-day disabled list on Saturday.
Greene was sidelined the entire month of July with social anxiety disorder,
which also caused him to spend a stint on the DL from May 29 to June 18.
In his first year with the Cardinals after coming over in an offseason trade
with San Diego, Greene is batting .200 with five homers and 19 runs batted in
through 47 games. He finished a 15-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Memphis
batting .345 with four homers and 10 RBI.
To make room on the roster, St. Louis optioned pitcher Mitchell Boggs to
Memphis. He appeared in six games and started five with the Cardinals and has
posted a record of 1-0 with a 3.29 earned run average.
