Young questionable for Titans with balky knee

Nashville, TN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young is
listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Rams after aggravating a
right knee injury in practice Thursday.
Head coach Jeff Fisher termed it only as "knee pain" following the team's
practice on Friday, of which Young was not a part. Fisher said Young is 50/50
for Sunday.
"We've not ruled him out for the game. If something is structurally wrong then
we would have ruled him out," Fisher said.
Young originally hurt the knee in last week's loss to Indianapolis that ended
Tennessee's remarkable five-game win streak, coinciding with the elevation of
Young to the starter's position. The Titans started the season 0-6 under
veteran Kerry Collins, who was benched after an embarrassing 59-0 shellacking
by New England back on October 18.
Young has completed 61.1 percent of his passes this season, throwing for 1,251
yards and six TDs against three interceptions. The fourth-year pro has also
picked up a rushing score, carrying the ball 44 times for 175 yards in eight
games, the last six of those starts.

The Cardinals, by far the playoff team with the longest odds to reach Super Bowl XLIII, did so yesterday with a 32-25 upset of the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship. Arizona charged out of the gates and built a 24-6 halftime lead that had the Eagles venerable defense reeling. Quarterback Kurt Warner and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald did most of the damage, connecting on three first half touchdowns.
Arizona, however, could not sustain their momentum and the Eagles took a 25-24 with 10:45 left to play in the fourth. The Cardinals, with the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance hanging in the balance, mounted a fourteen play, 72 yard touchdown drive that consumed 7:52 off the clock. Warner hit running back Tim Hightower on a short screen for the go-ahead, game clinching score that will forever live in Cardinal infamy.
